At BalanceBook, we believe financial privacy is a fundamental right. This policy explains how we handle your information with the highest security standards.

Data Collection

We only collect information necessary to manage your records. This includes contact details you provide (names, phone numbers) and transaction data (amounts, dates, notes). We do not sell or share this data with third parties.

Storage & Security

Your data is stored locally on your device in a secure SQLite database. If you use Cloud Backup, your data is encrypted and synced to our secure Supabase infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit.

Smart Notifications

The app schedules local notifications on your device to remind you of due dates. For overdue items, recurring triggers are used. These process locally and we do not use your data for advertising purposes.

User Rights

You have full control over your data. You can export all your records at any time or delete them permanently. When you delete a record, we also purge associated reminder data to respect your privacy and device storage.
